Dear West Portal Parents,

As you know, San Francisco schools are facing huge budget cuts. This greatly affects the amount of supplies we will have for West Portal for the 2008 – 2009 school year.

We are asking that parents donate the items listed on the back. Please review the list that corresponds to your child’s grade level for the upcoming school year. Please send these items with your child during the first week of school in August 2008. Your contribution will be important and greatly appreciated in helping to supply each classroom for the entire year. Please do not label items with your child’s name since they are for the entire class.

Our school is participating in Office Depot’s 5% Back to Schools Program. If you shop at Office Depot, make sure you inform the cashier before you check out the West Portal School’s 5% Back to Schools Program ID number 70014156 .
