WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A WITCH FOR A SISTER?
By Harrison Linder
One day Nancy went to school. On that day the class was reading The Witches story. The chapter they were reading was about how to identify a witch. It said that witches scratch their heads because they wear wigs to cover their bald heads. Witches wear gloves to cover their claws and pointy shoes on their square feet. Witches also have blue spit.
After school Nancy went home and did her homework. After that, she looked to see if her mom or sister were a witch.
First she looked to see if her mom was a witch. But her mom didn't wear a wig. She was not wearing gloves, and she didn’t have square feet. Now it was time to check her sister. But her sister didn’t let her. So Nancy spied on her. Her sister was scratching her head.
She said to herself, “Hmm she might be bald like a witch.”
Her sister also had pointy shoes like a witch. It looked like her spit was blue like a witch. She was wearing gloves like a witch.
The next day Nancy was having a play date with Christy. Right when Christy got in the door Nancy said, “Come in my room!” Christy came, and Nancy told Christy that her sister looked like a witch.
“So if she might be a witch let’s look in her room,” Christy said.
So they looked in her room and it was all expanded as if it were as big as half the house and there were lots of potions, powder and stuff.
Then Nancy and Christy said, "Wow!”
After that Christy blurted, “OK she’s a witch!”
“Well then how are we gonna get rid of her?” Nancy said
“Well if she can mix potions, why can’t we?” Christy said.
“Well I guess,” said Nancy.
“Then what can we do to get rid of her?” snapped Christy.
“How about we make her go away to England?” said Nancy.
“Well then let’s get started,” said Christy.
So they found a pot to make someone go some place. Then they found a potion labeled England. Next they found a machine with a circle on it that said, “Make work thingy.”
Then Christy babbled, “That’s a weird name for a thing.”
“ Well this should be the thing that will make our potion work,” Nancy said.
“Well how is it going to make our potion work?” Christy asked.
“Let’s just put it through,” said Nancy.
“OK’” said Christy.
So they put the potion in the pot and put it through the “Make work thingy,” and poured it on Nancy’s sister.
Then Nancy’s sister said, "I am going to England!”
So she bought a boat and went to England.
