West Portal Knitting Club
For knitsters in action, click on this slide show!
The club meets every Friday during lunchtime to knit, talk and engage in a little service for others. We hope to knit 100 scarves that will warm homeless San Franciscans. For those who are interested, it is never too late to join us and we have plenty of student knitters who can show you how! Come one, come all, and have fun – parents, students, teachers, and grandparents. For more info, contact Erika Andrew.
The Knitting Club would like to take this opportunity to give their heartfelt thanks to our supporters shown below for their recent donation of knitting supplies and books. Their contributions helped us get our club up and running to serve the needs of our students and as well the homeless people within our community. Over the past year, our club has grown from 20 to 80 members and that would not be possible without their donation.
